About Us

We Are Aaron And Allyson… And This Is Our Story

Our story starts with an 18-year-old girl and a 19-year-old boy meeting in Pensacola, Florida in 2013. We went to school together and ended up being in the same class. I, Allyson, remember this day all too well when Aaron walked into the classroom for the first time. I was sitting next to a friend and I said to her, “Wow, that guy is so good looking I swear I’m going to marry him!” I guess you could say it was love at first sight. Talks till 4 am, flirting with each other, and passed notes like kids in high school we started dating shortly after. And 9 months after that we were married. We aren’t ones for doing things the normal way and we definitely like to be spontaneous. We have been married since May 2014 and we have lived in Florida, Hawaii, and currently, we are in Oklahoma. We are always craving new adventures and seeking out new places to go. We love making vlogs of our travels and there’s only going to be more to come. Check out what we have done so far HERE

 Meet Allyson

If you had known me when I was 22 years old and you told me I’d be writing a travel blog planning on becoming a full-time digital nomad, I’d tell you-you’re crazy. If there is one thing I know for sure, it’s that God has always had a plan for me. When the job I had didn’t work out in my early 20’s, I was dead set on becoming an elementary school teacher. I always saw myself as becoming a teacher when I was younger so this was perfect, right? At the time, Aaron and I were soon moving to Oklahoma City and I had it all set in my head that I was going to go to college for an education degree. So I shadowed some teachers for a couple months, I prayed about it and I just wasn’t feeling it in my heart. How could something that seemed so right end up not actually feeling right in my heart? It’s because it’s not where I’m meant to be and I knew it. December 31st, 2016… This is when it all changed for me. Aaron was working on New Year’s Eve… Again.. I brought him Ruby Tuesdays for dinner so we could at least be together. And we had a conversation that changed both of our lives. He was scared I wouldn’t be spontaneous. I was scared he wouldn’t be spontaneous. Then we started talking about traveling full time. That conversation was the starting point of realizing what I was supposed to be doing with my life. Writing this blog, making videos, and ultimately traveling full time. I am so excited for what the future holds for us. Continue to follow our adventures because it’s only going to get better from here.

You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.  – Nehemiah 9:6

 Meet Aaron

So you want to know more about me huh? Well, you already know that I am married to a gorgeous woman who happens to be pictured above. Since you are on our site, you know that I like to seek adventure. Before we get to the good stuff, here are some random details about yours truly. I am from Texas and you better believe that I have a lot of pride in being from the greatest state in the US of A. I have been a motorcycle rider for over four years and the adrenaline rush never gets old. I have been skydiving multiple times and soon hope to get my jump certification. I enjoy going out into nature and getting off the beaten path. I think you get the picture, I have a desire for adrenaline. I love to push myself and see how far I can go. My wife and I want to travel for a number of reasons, but most importantly we want to grow. We want to grow in our knowledge of the world and see what is out there through our own eyes. We want to bring a blessing to the places and people that we get to interact with. Lastly, we want to have a blast and share that experience with you so it can hopefully bless you and inspire you to move out of your own comfort zone in whatever way that might be. So stick around to see what adventures we get ourselves into and I hope that in some way or another, you will be blessed by travel.
